Wow, it's been a long time since I updated my blog. A lot of fun and exciting things are happening for JustJeri Photography.  Because I know that long blogs can get extremely boring, I will just update a little at a time.

The latest news is that I have joined the Grants Pass Chamber of Commerce.  A direct result of joining is that I am now the "official" photographer at the Concerts in the Park at Riverside park every Tuesday starting in June.  You can get the schedule here.  I would love to see you there, and you may get your picture taken so be prepared. : )

Caveman Travel is promoting a fund raiser 10 day roundtrip cruise to Mexico from San Francisco. I will be on that cruise, camera in tow, to capture all the fun and excitement.  The proceeds of the fund raiser will benefit the Chamber of Commerce. It isn't until October 1st so I will give you more information on that as it comes available.

I also volunteer some time at the Chamber of Commerce every Tuesday afternoon. It's been a lot of fun as I greet visitors from out of town.  I get to tell them where to find all the awesome things Grants Pass and Southern Oregon have to offer. It's also been an eye-opener for me.  I have lived here a long time and have visited family here all my life. I find out something new about this area every time I step foot in that place.

My most recent find was Mill Creek Falls and Avenue of the Boulders.  I had heard about it but never took the time to experience that area.  Is is spectacular and well worth the hour drive to get there.  Located in the cute little town of Prospect, you can make a whole day of it and even have dinner and book a room at the Historic Prospect Hotel.
