I'm leaving tomorrow for my adventure with National Geographic (See my previous post).  My journey begins in my new (to me) 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac for which I traded my BMW.  Tyler Grannis from Mock Ford is the best salesman in Grants Pass.  I found what I wanted in Roseburg, Oregon and he did what he had to do to get it for me. My Sport Trac is the perfect vehicle for getting me to the places I want to go with my camera!

First, I'm headed to Orem, Utah to meet the new addition to my family. His name is Wilson. After holding and cuddling with Wilson for a day and a half, and of course spending time with his parents, Adam (my son) and Julie (his wife), I will be making my way to Dubois, Wyoming  to a comfy little cabin at the Twin Pines Lodge. I will be there for one night excitedly awaiting Sunday morning when my National Geographic adventure begins. From the Twin Pines Lodge, following a picturesque country road in my capable little Sport Trac I will arrive at the CM Ranch in Dubois where I will be spending the next 7 days with Jay Dickman, Jeff Vanuga, and the CM Ranch Cowboys!
